We took the Amtrak Cascades from Edmonds Washington to Vancouver British Columbia in Canada for a weekend end of summer getaway. The train to Vancouver is a delightful and very scenic three and a half hour mostly coastal trip. Aiden has always wanted to travel by train, which motivated us to leave the car behind and explore Vancouver by foot and public transport. The highlight for the kids was a public water park on Granville Island, but most of that got recorded on video.
